Other activities visitors can enjoy are badminton, shuffleboard, horseshoes, field games, volleyball, playgrounds, ping-pong, tennis, and many other activities including a paved walking and bicycling trail.

Hiking is also a popular activity at Cove Lake State Park. Visitors can enjoy the 11-mile section of the Cumberland Trail that connects to Cove Lake State Park with Tank Springs in LaFollette, TN. The campground and swimming pool at the park are also accessible to persons with a disability.
